We have a right-of-way on our deed; it is part of our driveway. Next door neighbor trying to sell his home, has demanded we move our vehicles off our property, as he says (?) we cannot park in a right-of-way, even though it is our property an on our deed! Is this true, for state of NH?

Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy) - I am assuming from your question that you own the property where you are parking your vehicles and that there is a right of way for your neighbor since you said you were parking on your property. If that is the case, then as long as you are not blocking the right of way for your neighbor then your neighbor can't force you to move your vehicles off of your own property. He would simply have a right to use the area for ingress and egress.

If the situation were reversed and you were the one with the easement and he owned the property then you would only be able to use the easement for ingress and egress and not for parking. The property would belong to your neighbor subject to the easement for your access.
