Hi I am an owner of a house that I rent and my house is in foreclosure the tenant found out and she don''t want to pay me the rent any more what can I do to keep collecting the rent from this tenant?          Thank You

Hi,

Serve her with a notice to vacate (30 days if month to month; 3 days or whatever is in a lease if there is one). If she doesn't move, bring eviction proceedings and a claim for past rent so you can get a judgment against her and an eviction order. There will be a court date and you will appear. The judge will order her out by a certain date. If she still does not leave, the sheriff will put her out.
